Social Contributions
In order to realize symbiosis with society and nature and become a truly valuable company, MOH is engaged in various social contribution activities under the corporate philosophy of “Realization of Symbiosis-based Economy”.
Sep 21, 2011. We provided reconstruction assistance for the damage caused by Typhoon No. 12.
In Tenkawa Village, Nara Prefecture, our CEO, Mr. Yanase, and our staff assisted in the reconstruction of the area that was damaged by Typhoon No. 12.
During the four-day period from September 7 to 10, we removed submerged furniture, appliances, bedding, clothing, and other items and collected them at the disposal site, washed and dried usable items in the sun, collected debris and garbage, and did civil engineering work for new cables to be laid to secure power sources. Although it was a short period of time, we did our best to help with the reconstruction.
Aug31, 2011. We Received a Letter of Appreciation from the Japan Tourism Agency for Reconstruction Assistance of the Great East Japan Earthquake.
As part of our support for the Tohoku region, we co-sponsored the Japan-Italy Legend Match held on August31, 2011, and received a letter of appreciation from the Japan Tourism Agency.
The social significance of the event is great, as it is a charity event from abroad in the disaster-stricken area, and proceeds from the event were donated to support reconstruction efforts in the Tohoku region.
Mar 28, 2011.Delivered relief supplies to areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake.
After the Great East Japan Earthquake, we headed to Soma City, Fukushima Prefecture to deliver relief supplies.
We delivered supplies to two locations, each of which was considered necessary. To Shinchi-Town, Soma County, we delivered underwear, snacks, children’s toys, and games. To Yamamoto-cho, Miyagi Prefecture, we delivered underwear, powdered milk, diapers, wipes, a box of feminine products, and more.
Mar 28, 2011.Donated to “NPO Japan Paralympic Support Organization
As part of the previously planned social contribution activities of “Minnadeooyasan”, we donated a portion of our operating profit to “NPO Japan Paralympic Support Organization” on Mar 28, 2011.
We are pleased to report that the return on the investment of your funds has become a part of these activities of social contribution. On behalf of everyone, we received a letter of appreciation from Mr. Urao, President of ”NPO Japan Paralympic Support Organization”.
